Our super-strength collation shrink film is multi-layered, and developed for those applications where maximum product protection is required eg. for heavyweight packs, or glass containers.

This advanced film offers customers significant yield saving opportunities without comprising pack integrity, or wrapping performance. Properties remain superior even at 20% reduced gauge over our more standard offering, and at 10% lower than a comparable market standard high yield film.

We offer the highest performance benefits in all key collation parameters:

• Shrink forces: The lowest hot force, and highest cold force by 30% over alternative high yield films (even at 10% thinner)
• Tear/Puncture: Tear strength is a particularly important property across the pack width (transverse direction), as many packs are lifted by the open ends (bullseyes) - and a low tear figure can cause pack splitting. The wrap must also withstand the sharpest corner or the longest bottleneck, and the film must have high resistance to puncture when lifted as above. On average our super-strength film offers double the performance of comparative films, but without cutting issues.
• Modulus/Stiffness: Stiffness is an important property for a couple of reasons. Firstly single overwrap units require films of high stiffness to cut, feed and wrap on the high speed systems. Secondly, higher stiffness results in less film stretch under the weight of the pack which can be up to 20kgs. Our product gives the highest level of stiffness without compromising toughness.
