 Technical Films  
Design, development and manufacture of technical films for demanding, performance-critical applications: Cash in transit, Food packaging, Form Fill Seal (FFS), Lamination films for sheet, Liquid packaging, Mailing, Printers & converters, Surface protection film & Specialist applications.
 Industrial Films  
A major part of our business is dedicated to film used for industrial packaging. Product quality, consistency, and customer service have yielded a broad customer base, including both small users, and large household names. Applications include: Agriculture & horticulture, Bedding & mattress, Chemicals, Construction, Flooring & carpets, Furniture packaging, & Tyre & rubber. Product range includes LLDPE pallet stretch film, shrink sheeting, shrink covers, stretch hooding, over-wrap and roll-wrap
 Collation Shrink  
From the purely functional, through to high-quality printed films in up to eight colours for consumer multi-packs. Available for single or twin feed applications, and including high gloss / clarity, controlled opening and non-fusion shrink.
 Medical & Surgical  
Britton Taco has been an established supplier to the medical field for more than a decade, providing a variety of films for use as a component layer in a number of medical applications such as equipment / patient drapes, and operating room accessories.
 Hygiene Films  
As an industry leader and global player in the hygiene disposables market, we produce a wide range of both cast and blown film products for use in the Adult protection, Baby care / diapers, and Femcare / Feminine Hygiene industries.
 Biodegradable Films  
Totally biodegradable plastic films that degrade to carbon-dioxide (or methane) and water are offered under the name "BioFlex" for applications such as retail carrier bags, refuse sacks, compost bags, shrink films, food packaging films, liquid packaging films, mailing films, agriculture and document security films.

Recruitment

Britton Group employs over 650 people in a variety of roles at its three polyethylene (polythene) manufacturing sites within the UK

Over 200 of these are at the Britton Taco plant in Winsford, Cheshire - where opportunities sometimes become available for suitable candidates within Production / Operations and Management / Supporting positions such as:

  • Process Operators 

  • Erema Operators

  • Warehouse Operators / Logistics

  • Material Handlers

  • Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Drivers

  • Maintenance Engineers

  • Hygiene Operators

  • Packers

Our Operations personnel generally work to a 4 shift system of 12 hours per shift, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 rest days, although some of the roles work day shifts with a variety of working patterns.

In addition, we can occasionally offer Management and Support roles in the following departments:

  • Administration

  • Finance and IT

  • Maintenance

  • Internal Sales

  • Telesales

  • External Sales

  • Export

  • Technical and Quality
